With the 4th of July quickly approaching I knew we had to do some kind of holiday craft. Since we celebrate the holiday with fireworks I decided to bust out the paint and we would paint fireworks.

I took some pipe cleaners and constructed a make shift stamp. I poured a little paint out and gave Kora the stamp and some paper.

Kora happily dipped her stamp into the paint and started decorating her paper. She’s not familiar with fireworks so she didn’t know what she was trying to make. She was just happy to be painting.

Between the flexibility of the pipe cleaners and the impatience of a two year old, we didn’t quite get the results I had hoped for. Kora had a great time however, so maybe I did get the results I wanted!
Happy Fourth of July!
